Giovanna Battaglia styled the Spring/Summer 2016 look book for MaxMara and I love the bold energy with which Gio imbues the images, taking as her only prop a white rope. The simple backdrop serves to accent the feeling of the line to perfection, at once tribal, nautical, street. Isabella Emmack models the MaxMara collection with photographs by Chris Colls.
